Eligibility

- Healthy Start is a special program for:
- Pregnant or postpartum women who have
experienced maternal complications including:
- - delivering a low birth weight
baby
- - delivering preterm
- - preexisting maternal medical
problems
- - fetal loss
- - infant death

- Infants who are at an increased risk of
medical problems, and in need of early intervention and/or special
services (such as special nutritional services).
- Women and infants living in Richmond
County.
